「同額競選」(walkover; uncontested election) 是指「候選人數」與「應選人數」相等的選舉，特別是只有一個人登記參選 (the sole candidate in an uncontested election/the only candidate on the ballot)。

Walkover 源自運動比賽，因對手喪失資格或棄權 (disqualified or forfeited)，不用跑的，走過去也能贏。在加拿大「同額競選」叫 acclamation，相當於中文的「鼓掌歡呼通過」。
今年九合一選舉，近2600個里是「同額競選」，登記參選者可以躺著選，拿1票就當選。依照選罷法第70條規定，縣市長及鄉鎮長候選人，最低當選門檻應達到選舉人總數的20%才算當選。村里長無當選門檻，拿到1張票就當選。
根據維基百科，中華人民共和國的人大常委選舉，也是變相的「同額競選」。 19個人大副委員長及國家軍委主席，採用等額選舉，這種同額競選方式只要提名就可以當選。(Jerome Su, Dec. 3, 2018)
